Job Description
As the Global People Operations Manager (Transition & Integration), you will play a key role in stabilising US and Canada People Operations while supporting the transition of services into the global People Operations model.Your primary responsibility is to ensure continuity of service delivery while driving alignment to global standards, simplifying local processes and enabling the controlled movement of work into centralised teams.
This role is focused on supporting integration and transformation, ensuring that US and Canada operations are aligned to the wider People Services and Operations strategy, while reducing reliance on local delivery over time.
You will act as a central point of escalation for complex issues, while also identifying opportunities to improve, standardise and streamline services. This role will challenge existing ways of working and support the transition to a more scalable and efficient operating model.
- Provide comprehensive leadership and accountability for US and Canada Operations service delivery, ensuring high-quality and consistent experiences during the transition period.
- Support the stabilisation of current operations while driving alignment to global People Services and Operations standards.
- Drive the transition of services into the global People Operations model, identifying opportunities to centralise and standardise work.
- Act as a point of escalation and support for direct reports, addressing complex challenges related to processes, local regulatory requirements and service delivery.
- Collaborate with CoEs and wider People teams to ensure the adoption of global processes, policies and experience changes.
- Engage Operations Partners to drive process consistency and coordinate efforts towards global service alignment.
- Manage and maintain the Service Inventory in collaboration with Operations Support and peers, ensuring services are efficient, standardised and aligned to business needs.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll and other key functions (aligned to the finance roadmap) to ensure operational processes are integrated and consistent.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and enable automation.
- Provide leadership to the Operations team, supporting them through change and ensuring engagement and performance during the transition.
- Ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet business demand while supporting the shift towards a more centralised model.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure People Operations remains an effective and aligned function during integration activity.
- Support ad-hoc projects and deliverables aligned to the transition and integration of services.
- Challenge existing approaches and escalate barriers to enable effective service delivery and transformation.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of leading teams through change and transformation.
- Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes and experience in their end-to-end execution across multiple countries.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow case management (or equivalent HR service management platform) , including driving adoption, improving case handling and enabling digital self-service.
- Experience in process standardisation, service transition and operational improvement within a structured service delivery model.
- Comfortable working in a data-led, process-driven environment , with a focus on consistency, control and scalability.
- Experience working with HR technology solutions and supporting the move from manual or localised processes to more centralised, system-led delivery.
- Oracle HCM experience (or equivalent HRIS) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong stakeholder management across People, Finance and other business functions.
- Ability to operate in a changing environment and lead teams through ambiguity and evolving operating models.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and simplification of services.
