ESG at Entain

Sustainable success

Our commitment to corporate social responsibility

As a major league player, we’re aware the impact our brands have on communities, customers and places all over the world. So we put great effort into ensuring we leave a positive footprint everywhere we tread.

That’s why we only operate in regulated markets. Why we put millions into community initiatives and partnerships with local and global charities. And why we’re already ahead of our emission reduction targets. We’re acting as an industry role model for what responsible governance should look like, to create great results for our people, customers and planet.

Safer Gambling

As leaders in our industry, it’s only natural we should be the people who step up to provide leadership and direction for the industry on safer gambling. Discover how we're creating a safer future for everyone.

Our responsibility to the environment.

Leading the race to net zero

As a global business with thousands of offices, shops and stadia all over the world, we have to tackle our environmental impact head on. That’s why we launched our Make Today Matter movement and set ourselves the target of reducing our carbon footprint by 15%, and thanks to our amazing people, we achieved this goal two years early. Now our eyes are on the big prize – net zero by 2035. And you can bet we’ll get there.

Partnering with charities and communities

In 2020 we launched the Entain Foundation to support a variety of good causes all over the world. We’ve already committed £100m over the next five years, with a particular eye on four key areas:

Research, education and treatment to promote safer betting and gaming

Supporting grassroots, disability, and women’s sport.

Diversity in and through technology.

Community projects around our major office locations

There’s a huge gender gap in technology, and we’re working to close it with funding for groups, equipment and training. We can’t wait to meet the next generation of female tech talent.

Look beyond the top flight, and you’ll find many smaller football clubs and sporting organisations that are struggling in the aftermath of Covid-19. We’re investing millions at the grassroots level, to support these clubs, and preserve their places at the very heart of local communities throughout the UK.

We’ve partnered with this incredible charity to provide annual funding for 50 up-and-coming sports stars across the country. With our help, they’ll be able to pay for the travel, accommodation and equipment they require to compete at the levels their talent deserves.

Since launching in 2003, this charity has raised around £10million for health, education and community projects across the UK.

Our pilot project with this charity ‘Change the First 1,000 days’ has helped hundreds of vulnerable children in Africa get access to crucial early childhood education, so they can secure a better future

Diversity, equity and inclusivity at Entain

We’re committed to creating a psychologically safe, inclusive and supportive culture for everyone here at Entain. We empower our people to celebrate who they are, who they love, what they believe in, and how they show up for work. We do it so we can welcome the best people into our squad, and inspire them to high levels of performance. But we also do it because we do what’s right.
