With this, we are recruiting for a Senior Manager – Marketing Experimentation to join our team.

As our Senior Manager – Marketing Experimentation you will be working with our UK gaming brands which together generate more than £1b of revenue annually. Working with the brand’s leadership team, this role will focus on establishing tests and innovations which are seen-through to execution across all customer life-stages and that have the potential to transform the future of how we market to our customers. embedding a test & learn culture across all marketing disciplines is a criterion of success.

 
So what does a day to day look like?
 
  • Working closely with the Heads of Marketing, Proposition and Operations with regular exposure to Directors and MD, understand each Brand’s strategy and identify a set of strategic questions that could have the biggest impact differentiating and growing our business.

  • Nurture said strategic questions into a test and learn pipeline ensuring group standards and best practice are met at each stage of the lifecycle from idea all the way through to results.

  • Absorb ideas from the broader UK region and help mature them into measurable experiments. No channel or customer touchpoint is out of bounds here.

  • Lead the regional governance processes ensuring that the senior leaders (including the MD) of the region have full visibility of what is being tested on their respective brands. Equally you are responsible for flight controlling what is tested and minimizing the risk of one test influencing the outcome of another.

  • Partner with the Marketing Analytics, Experimentation Hub, and broader BI community to set the global standards and best practice in terms of test design and measurement; we have an array of internally built measurement, analytics, and reporting tools at your disposal. Experience with Attribution, Analytics and Marketing Measurement is extremely advantageous.

  • Be a thought leader for Marketing innovation more broadly taking both internal and external learnings and filtering them into the business. You’ll be creative with your approach considering learning materials, forums, hackathons, and drop-in sessions with an emphasis on embedding a test and learn culture amongst the marketing community.

  • Build a new team of talented experts who you will coach and lead as your succession pipeline.
 
What we are looking for?
 
  • You'll be at ease and confident with driving marketing performance improvements through testing new innovations, which you will have gained from building your experience over several years in cross-channel marketing functions or agencies within digitally focused business(es).

  • You’ve had a deep level of exposure to at least 2x key Marketing disciplines, any 2 of the following: Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, Ecommerce / CRO, CRM.

  • You are ‘Mar-Tech-savvy’ meaning you have hands on experience with a multitude of Marketing-Technology and Ad-Platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, A/B Testing tools, Google Ads, CRM platforms etc)

  • You are a data-native, confident in interpreting complex customer, web, and behavioral data sets into new test hypothesis.

  • You have experience managing high complexity tasks and backlogs through a workflow management platform and are therefore comfortable with Kanban environments (e.g. JIRA, Monday, Trello) and the associated processes.

  • You’ll be able to demonstrate examples of ideas, tests, and innovations in current or previous roles that have led to substantial business improvement.

  • Experience working in a global-matrix organisation or multi-client agency is beneficial but not essential.
