About the Role

Entain is looking for a Manager of Social Media Strategy and Engagement to join the Unikrn team. They will  lead the day-to-day strategy development, creative approach, engagement and growth. The role is a key contact point for the global consumer marketing team, the regional marketing leads and the customer service team in the development and execution of the brand’s digital marketing and social media footprint.  The position requires effective stakeholder and agency management across the business at all levels.

Your Mission

  • Devise, communicate and lead implementation of the comprehensive social marketing strategy, including KPIs, budget and content calendar.

  • Innovate strategies that support brand initiatives with focus on brand-building, storytelling, consumer engagement and follower growth.

  • Partner closely with the creative team to function as chief brand stewards across all social platforms (to potentially include Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, etc.).

  • Partner closely with other marketing functions to align priorities, ensuring consistent and effective digital-first activations.

  • Drive brand awareness and relevance in each active market, and to balance storytelling across product and brand content.

  • Lead the strategy for community management, growth and engagement, including creator programming.

  • Partnering with PR, Internal Comms and Global Marketing to ensure the brand responds effectively to customer service issues/questions, crisis and sensitive issues when relevant.

  • Oversee local implementation of cohesive channel admin, social listening, monitoring, measurement of ROI in line with brand goals.

  • Create playbooks and toolkits for the business to support all of the above initiatives.

  • Build and manage a team of social experts and the supporting agencies.


Your Profile

  • A passion for storytelling and excited by the opportunity to redefine what marketing looks like for our industry and beyond.

  • Experience in delivering recommendations to senior level executives; effective communicator at all levels of organizations.

  • A balance of conviction to drive change with breakthrough collaboration.

  • Content obsessed, with a innate feel for creative that drives desired action.

  • Strong communication, problem solving, organizational and delegation skills.

  • Creative problem solver with openness to new approaches.

  • Strategic thinker who is well-versed in culture, analytics, consumer insights and employs a customer first mindset to all plans and activations.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple programs concurrently.

  • High energy, self-starter, team-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Travel when needed to support the business and local / regional activations.

  • International / global experience is a plus.

  • Experience and connections within the gaming / esports / youth culture spaces is a plus.
