About the Role

Entain is looking for a CRM Technical Manager to join the unikrn team and will be responsible for maintaining CRM & Retention technical implementations both Onsite (Promotions, Banners and Notifications) and Offsite (Email, SMS, Social and Push Notifications). Assisting the Head of CRM & Retention in set-up management and optimizing of customer journeys, campaigns and offers across Acquisition & Retention.


In 2021, Entain acquired unikrn to launch the company’s esports practice. unikrn is one of the world’s preeminent esports betting platforms. unikrn paved the wave in the sports betting industry by offering esports odds across 35 titles, as well as virtual esports and streamer betting. unikrn also boasts a skill-based betting platform that allows players to wager on themselves in ranked matches in the world’s most popular gaming titles.

Your Mission

    • Technical - oversee technical requirements and maintain CRM & Retention excellence 

      • Ensure that the CRM & Retention platforms are designed and operating to the current and future requirements of the business

      • Define, establish, follow and embed technical implementations & procedures including templates & design assets, promotional builds, appropriate testing procedures, tooling and automation of delivery

      • Build cross-compatable emails via HTML, CSS and MJML, a modern markup language specific for email development

    • Operations – work across all levels in the company to deliver CRM & Retention tactical priorities

      • Collaborate with Product and development teams to ensure CRM & Retention technical requirements are developed and implemented to business requirements

      • Work closely with the Head of CRM & Retention to ensure all customer communication is set up and tracked appropriately in our CRM and BI tools

      • Assisting in the development, implementation and execution of marketing campaigns, including building, testing, proofing (copy, translations and links),  managing customer lists and launching campaigns on both platform and client through the utilization of banners, toasts, emails, SMS and push

      • Assist in the organization, planning and production of ad-hoc campaigns to customers

      • Receive and answer queries from stakeholders on the implementation and performance of Acquisition, Affiliate & Retention campaigns

    • Enablement – work with the Marketing, Operations, Product and Retention teams

      • Identify process improvements and automation in all things customer and revenue for the benefit to customer retention and business bottom line

    • Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile environment through definition, scoping, and delivery of requirements


Your Profile

    • 3+ years experience in CRM, Web Development or similar role

    • Highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail

    • Able to handle multiple and mixed priorities

    • Strong knowledge of frontend development languages, including HTML, CSS & Javascript

    • Knowledge of version control practices through the use of GitHub, GitLab or comparable platform

    • Understanding of CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR requirements and inbox deliverability standards

    • A consultative approach to developing recommendations based on business and customer needs

    • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies

    • Ability to work with little direction, meet deadlines, and prioritize duties

    • Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written

    • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to offer suggestions and improvements to processes and work effectively with all personalities

    • Good presentation and speaking skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace

    • High attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline pressure

    • Able to liaise with distributed teams from different disciplines to deliver business and team goals on time

    • Ability to work independently and excel in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to understand broader business and revenue issues and juggle multiple projects and tasks

    • Customer-Centric, "can do" attitude - always curious about their experience

    Profile Preferred

    • Knowledge of data object formats (JSON) and usage of APIs

    • Experience with CRM software and web-based project management tools

    • Competent proficiency level with BI tools (SQL, R, Tableau, etc)

    • A keen interest in esports, games, and gaming
