About the Role

Entain is looking for a Partnership Marketing Manager to join the Unikrn team and define the brand’s position across sponsorships, game publisher / merchant partnerships, brand marketing and campaign management. The role is a key contact point for the global consumer marketing team across the organization. The position requires effective stakeholder and agency management across the business at all levels to pull through the brand’s marketing strategy across the sponsorship and product organizations. 

In 2021, Entain acquired unikrn to launch the company’s esports practice. unikrn is one of the world’s preeminent esports betting platform. unikrn paved the wave in the sports betting industry by offering esports odds across 35 titles, as well as virtual esports and streamer betting. unikrn also boasts a skill-based betting platform that allows players to wager on themselves in ranked matches in the world’s most popular gaming titles.

Your Mission

  • Sponsorship

    • This role will be responsible for driving unikrn’s strategic sponsorship vision.

    • Areas of oversight include managing sponsorship evaluations, deal negotiations and contract reviews for new partnerships and renewals.

    • Develop / lead all activation and experiential plans while delivering against business objectives.

    • Lead management, activation and briefing processes across multiple agency teams across all relevant agency disciplines.

    • Proficient in partnership measurement and asset valuation is required to determine success.

    • Strength in budget management and the necessary decisiveness to prioritize investments. 

  • Campaign Management / Brand Marketing

    • Lead cross-functional / platform marketing campaigns. 

    • Work closely with the creative team to ensure consistency across activations and messaging. 

    • Partner with marketing colleagues to drive timelines against key deliverables. 

  • Publisher / Merchant Partnerships

    • Work with the publisher team to support new business discussions from a sponsorship and/or business perspective. 

    • Partner with the CRM team to develop, manage and evolve the customer retention strategy as well as how the CMR team can leverage sponsorship and/or merchant partners assets.  

    • Build strategic partnerships with merchant partners to integrate into the customer retention strategy.  

Your Profile

  • We are looking for someone who has a passion for creating differentiated engagements and is excited by the opportunity to redefine what marketing looks like for our industry and beyond.

  • Executive presence and experience in delivering recommendations to senior level executives; effective communicator at all levels of organizations, and comfortable with press and industry communication.

  • Possesses a balance of conviction to drive change with breakthrough collaboration and influencer management capabilities

  • Significant experience and connection to the gaming / esports / youth culture industries, working with numerous stakeholders from publishers, properties and/or talent management.

  • Exceptional people leadership skills and experience, overseeing a cross-functional team, with a consistent history of cultivating and developing high performing teams.

  • Exceptional leadership skills - strong communication, problem solving, organizational and delegation skills are a must.

  • Collaboration with colleagues across all lines of business to identify and develop unique strategic programs to deliver against business objectives.

  • All around strategic thinker who is well-versed in culture, analytics, consumer insights and employs a customer first mindset to all experiential plans and activations.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple programs concurrently.

  • High energy, self-starter, team-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Travel required (~20%) to execute onsite programs and nurture partnerships.
