About The Role

The role of the Data/Business Analyst consists of defining, developing a diverse range of reporting and analysis for the Customer Service department.

You will be the go-to for reporting requests within the Operational Excellence team and wider Central CS Department, and will be the data front-line for those teams.

Working in a fast-paced and dynamic industry, you will have the opportunity to really “get your teeth” into multiple data sources, and drive change as a data champion across the business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing the Head of Operational Excellence with day-to-day reports to support ongoing operations and decision making, building these into weekly and periodic reports
  • Utilising SQL, Excel & VBA to create internal reports and data analysis packs that help in managing business decisions
  • Create ongoing data visualisations and reports to present key insights to stakeholders
  • Adapting your style to suit the audience and delivering complex messaging and analytics in a meaningful way to meet the needs and style of the audience
  • You will be able to produce explanatory commentary, insights and recommendations to produce improvement plans. You should be able to handle MI-related enquiries and provide ad-hoc analysis upon request from the wider business.
  • Ongoing review of customer contact data, in order for the business to identify areas of improvement in regards to processes and procedures which could bring down unnecessary customer contact reasons
  • Consistently demonstrate the value of data and analytics and how that affects the business landscape
  • Providing additional support to the Director of CS Central Services and the wider CS Central Services Team, ensuring all reporting requirements are met
  • Work with business users to understand their requirements for data and analysis, and further supporting in the post-delivery phase to ensure the use of reporting and data is evangelised
  • Regularly review of the various CS KPI’s, and providing any supplementary analysis as required
Competencies and Experience Required:
  • At least 1 Year experience in analytics
  • Sound knowledge of the different aspects of Customer Service
  • A data champion with a track record of delivering insightful and meaningful reporting
  • Ability to work efficiently with people at all levels
  • Strong SQL Skills
  • Familiarity of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Excellent Knowledge in MS Office, Power Point and MS Excel in particular
  • Excellent ability the review reports in an analytical manner
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Fluency in the English language, with any other Company supported languages
  • Ability to distinguish and use an apt style to handle teams/individuals
