Head of Programmes, UK Digital, helps to bring Entain to new heights as the top sports betting and gaming operator, by leading the programme management team that looks after our UK digital (online) business, represented by the glorious brands of Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala and Foxy
The role reports to Group Director of Projects, as a part of Corporate Programme Management organisation under the umbrella of Entain Operations, alongside Technology, Product and other operational teams
This role can be located in either Gibraltar or the UK.

What you'll be doing:

  • The role involves oversight of corporate programmes spanning multiple departments (Operations, Business, Compliance & Legal, Finance etc.) and requires strong focus on Technology delivery and Business needs, as well as Compliance and Social Responsibility
  • Be accountable for end-to-end delivery of programmes and projects making part of UK Digital Portfolio, including but not limited to aspects such as scope definition, planning, execution in terms of both Technology delivery and Business readiness, communications and result measurement
  • Lead the team of programme and project managers responsible for managing UK Digital Portfolio
  • Ensure proper governance for UK Digital Portfolio, including a proper Steering structure, consolidated status reporting and performance metrics
  • Manage directly the most critical programmes as needed
  • Communicate and align with senior stakeholders across different departments, locations and organizational levels (including C-level)
  • Drive continuous improvement of ways of working, together with the relevant stakeholders from Operations and Business and in cooperation with Group Director of Projects
  • Foster professional development of team members and drive their motivation

What we need from you:

  • 5+ years programme/project management experience in digitally focused industries
  • Solid knowledge of modern project management practices and agile software development methodologies
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, experience of team leadership
  • Experience of working closely with software development teams on one side and marketing teams on the other side
  • Experience of working in complex organisations and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker, ability to build relationships and to articulate ideas clearly
  • Energetic and tenacious, assertive and diplomatic
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and extensive presentation skills


  • Sports betting and gaming industry experience (a strong plus)
  • One of leading project management certifications
