The DSAR team sits within Customer Protection and manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and Data Deletion Requests for all Entain UK customers.

The purpose of the role is to perform DSAR data extraction across our systems, ensuring the Entain Group’s approach and GDPR regulation to data subjects' rights (e.g. subject access requests; data erasure or rectification requests) are applied correctly.

Requests come from various sources including Customer Services, our Legal Team and Data Privacy Team. The requests can carry a financial, or regulatory, implication for the business if not handled appropriately.

You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the business, to make sure we deliver fair customer outcomes, and correctly escalate Privacy related queries. A key part of this will be to look at the root cause of the request and feedback to the business, to allow for continuous improvement; something key to Entains' ethics and strategy

What you'll be doing:

  • Accept, log and manage DSAR and Privacy requests; including communication with the customer and escalation within the business where appropriate
  • Execute our verification process with the customer, or 3rd party, before the provision of data
  • Extract all required information and upload onto our internal redaction tool
  • Carry out stage 1 of the review of the DSAR data, including emails and calls; including the provision of proposed redactions and exemptions
  • Extraction and provision of customer data to the required teams handling responses to Customer Complaints, or                   
  • Requests for Information (RFI), from our regulators and other organisations 
  • Locate customer information to determine eligibility for anonymisation and sharing with the privacy team in relation to data deletion requests
  • Work within our internal KPIs set out by the business, and SLAs within GDPR regulation, adhering to risk and compliance policies
  • Maintain effective record-keeping for all customer contacts, in order to comply with regulatory requirements and for audit purposes
  • Keep abreast of all products and tools to ensure all customer queries can be answered
  • Provide ongoing feedback and root cause analysis back to the business to promote and embrace a culture of continuous improvement, resulting in better outcomes for our customers

Occasional:

  • Production of metrics analysis and reporting to the privacy team
  • Keep abreast of all sports and gaming services, products and tools to ensure all customer queries can be answered effectively and in line with the business strategy
  • Assist the privacy team with any new tools, demos, POCs and discussions
  • Assist in ensuring the teams processing activities, documented procedures and training material are all appropriate, effective, up to date and adhered to
  • Specialist skills and experience

What we need from you:

  • Demonstrable experience of responding to a complex data requests using detailed, exploratory and methodical working practices
  • Excellent written skills, including composition, language and tone 
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritise key tasks; with a focus on delivering them within agreed deadlines
  • Experience of handling sensitive, confidential customer information
  • Able to remain calm, tactful, respectful and unbiased during both internal and external communication
  • Able to produce accurate and detailed information to a high standard
  • GCSE or equivalent, including English Language, and/or experience which maps to the role

Desired:

  • Previous experience in either the gambling industry, or a similarly regulated market, is advantageous
  • An understanding of the importance and impact of regulatory requirements
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills
