We are looking for a Social Media Editor to work on our bwin brand. As Social Media Editor, you will be responsible for executing the brand’s social media strategy and supporting the Manager in ensuring that it aligns with the overall marketing strategy. This includes creating and delivering original, interesting and stand-out social media content across a variety of platforms.

This role focuses not just on growing brand awareness and consideration through owned channels, with an emphasis on unique and fame-driving content, but reporting on how the social media strategy positively affects business.

bwin is big on sports, and therefore we are looking for someone who is sports obsessed! You'll love creating excellent content, enjoy crafting ideas in a team and if you have a comprehensive understanding of gambling/gaming, then that would be a bonus!

  • Produce regular reports that outline performance against targets and business objectives.
  • Support the Social Media Manager in maintaining and continually evolving the brand voice and style.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Trading, Product, Content, Operations and CRM to ensure the content offering is competitive, informative and complements brand-wide campaigns, offers and promotions.
  • Create briefs for internal and external creative designers/producers. This includes supporting video partnerships with influencers.
  • Build monthly content and delivery plans according to the sporting and gaming calendars.
  • Support the Social Media Manager in collaborating with the Paid Social team to ensure the posting strategy & targeting is working effectively alongside direct response activity.

What are we looking for in a Social Media Editor?

  • Native Franch speaker with fluent English.
  • Sports fan - particularly football, strong knowledge of the Belgium and European leagues.
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to adopt creativity and brevity is essential.
  • Avid user of social media with a comprehensive understanding of all platforms and astute awareness of what makes audiences engage on these channels. Experience of developing and delivering ideas for social-first content campaigns is preferable.
  • Strong understanding of social media ad platforms and paid activity.
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise, balance multiple tasks and manage time in order to meet tight deadlines, without losing an eye for detail.

This is a full-time position based in Brussels. Relocation support available. Successful applicants will be expected to work any 5 days from 7 on a shift basis (includes evenings and weekends) and according to the Sports/Gaming calendars.

When applying for this role, please upload a copy of your CV in English.
