The Role in a Nutshell:
The Technical Deployment team are the key to providing new technology to our Retail Estate. You will provide design and technical support to our shops in addition to supporting with installation of new devices and tech. In this field-based role, you will use your technical expertise to make recommendations to ensure designs and selections meet requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide effective systems design, implementation, management, and technical support of IT based Retail technology.
- Technical project management- responsible for the lifecycle of equipment, from specification, selection, procurement assistance through to installation and ongoing use in shops.
- Become an expert in Ladbrokes & Coral in shop technologies including audio visual, EPoS and network technology
- Provide 3rd line support for legacy systems
- Responsible for the creation of installation instructions and support documents for 3rd party partners and in house colleagues
- Act as technical liaison for Studio broadcast team. - Provide technical expertise when developing new systems and hardware in line with broadcast strategy.
- Quality assurance: Working within ITIL (industry standard) framework to deploy new services, including raising work and IT change requests. Working within agreed IT framework.
- Technical liaison between Retail property projects and Entain IT services.

- Skilled solutions developer, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis

- Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and departments across the business at all levels.
- Experience of working under pressure and to tight timescales
- Experienced in installing field-based technologies.
