Reflecting how important sustainability is to us and to our stakeholders, we have put it at the heart of our strategy as one of our two strategic pillars. It is incorporated into all that we do as we expand across the global market and in particular in the US. Given the nature of our industry, responsibility is integral to our customer centric approach and vital for our social licence. Our Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Team, incorporating ESG, (IR & Comms) is at the heart of driving our perception and reputation amongst our key stakeholders. We are creating a strong and differentiated team of specialists within IR & Comms and want someone to join the team who is keen to help us deliver on our ambitions, together. This role reports directly into the Chief IR & Communications Officer, but will also work closely with all of the Executive Committee and in particular the Chief Governance Officer and their team. It will also work across departments and international business to set the strategy, delivery and tone of our Sustainability agenda.

Over the last two years we have taken significant steps in defining, delivering and leading on being the most responsible and sustainable operator in our industry. We have invested in research and education into problem gambling, invested significant amounts into our communities and grass roots sport, committed to creating the best and most inclusive place to work, committed to be net carbon zero by 2035 and adhere to the highest levels of corporate governance. We are now looking for an individual to drive and coordinate our sustainability agenda across the Group and ensure we both deliver on our core value to ‘Do the right thing’ and continue to pioneer our industry in this important area.
Key responsibilities for this role include:

● Building on our core strategic pillar of sustainability, by defining, co-ordinating and delivering an industry leading approach to all aspects of ESG
● Lead the ESG steering group in monitoring, decisioning and co-ordinating delivery of the ESG strategy
● Regularly report to, and participate in, the Board ESG Committee.
● Ensure that our ESG strategy and achievements are understood by our stakeholders, working with Investor Relations, Internal leadership communications, HR and Corporate PR teams.
● Work and collaborate across all relevant functions in the group to ensure a joined up approach on all ESG matters.
● In particular work with Public and Regulatory Affairs in ensuring we deliver the highest levels of responsibility in our industry
● Support global offices, and local brands, in defining and delivering on relevant ESG agendas reflecting both the Group strategy and local requirements.
● Work with our business partners to identify and deliver on common areas of opportunity on the ESG agenda
● Lead communications on all ESG matters with institutional investors, including index participation and ESG screening and scoring bodies
● Lead production and delivery of the Group’s annual Sustainability report.
● Support the development of key leadership narrative on sustainability with the wider IR & Comms team.
● Seek out and deliver appropriate speaking opportunities (investor, industry and subject matter) that supports and demonstrates Entain’s leadership in ESG
● Work across the business to build on and develop the Group’s annual Entain Sustain ESG event
● Ensure that any communication demonstrates a solid knowledge of Entain, relevant business areas, strategy and performance and how they’re connected.
● Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships, and develop a strong understanding of our external and internal priorities, challenges, and audiences.
● Use measurement tools and data to evaluate the effectiveness of ESG amongst all our stakeholders.
● Be a collaborative and supportive member of the IR & Communications team, happy to be flexible outside of your immediate role remit to drive the wider team’s success.
