The role in a nutshell:
 
As the HR Advisor you will provide guidance, coaching and support to people leaders across the Digital business on people matters impact their teams.  You will partner closely with the HRBPs on the Digital team supporting on project work that impacts the business.

Working closely with line managers to provide professional, commercial, timely and accurate support to the management teams across the business ensuring a fair, appropriate and consistent approach to company policies and procedures, promoting a positive climate whilst managing and minimising organisational risks.

You will work to promote a best practice environment to support the business with growth and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Support managers with the effective and efficient performance management of their teams, identifying and facilitating appropriate interventions through the performance management processes.
  • Provide professional advice and solutions in managing changes of terms and conditions of employment, ways of working and other employment changes, that, if handled poorly create a negative impact on the ER climate and/or reputational/financial damage to the organisation. 
  • To support HR Business Partners in achieving engagement targets and managing Employee Engagement through listening to colleagues and effective action planning following survey results
  • Use HR Metrics and reporting to guide the business and HRBPs on potential issues and making recommendations for change
  • Take ownership for any projects or initiatives as directed by the HRD or Snr HRBPs  and provide general support for work required/requested

What we need from you:

  • Generalist HR experience within a fast paced HR environment
  • Previous experience of providing generalist HR services
  • An up to date and general working knowledge of UK (European an asset) employment legislation
  • A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external managers and contacts
  • Verbal communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organisation. Confident at delivering feedback.
  • Written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to write and present information on HR metrics
  • Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives
  • Results and service focused
  • Able to think outside of the box
  • Resilient – able to bounce back after setbacks
  • Analytical
