About the Role

Entain is looking for a Global Head of Digital and Social Media Marketing to join the Unikrn team to lead the department in defining the brand’s digital marketing, social media, content and editorial positions and strategies. The role is a key contact point for the global consumer marketing team, the regional marketing leads, the customer service team and the product organization in the development and execution of the brand’s digital marketing and social media footprint.  The position requires effective stakeholder and agency management across the business at all levels to pull through the brand’s marketing positioning. 

In 2021, Entain acquired Unikrn to launch the company’s esports practice. Unikrn is one of the world’s preeminent esports betting platform. Unikrn paved the wave in the sports betting industry by offering esports odds across 35 titles, as well as virtual esports and streamer betting. Unikrn also boasts a skill-based betting platform that allows players to wager on themselves in ranked matches in the world’s most popular gaming titles.

Your Mission

  • Developing, implementing and managing Unikrn’s digital and social media strategies in line with the global brand positioning and business goals.

  • Position, update, manage and monitor the Unikrn social channels, communities and regional strategies.

  • Lead the brand’s content strategies by partnering with the brand management team to develop content best practices and convert these into impactful audience-first, channel-sensitive, socially-native campaigns.

  • Evaluate and reimagine the brand’s editorial approach and go-to-market strategy.

  • Partner with the customer service and the communications teams to develop best practices, proactive and reactive processes / action plans to support customer inquiries and outreach.

  • Oversee local implementation of cohesive channel admin, social listening, monitoring, measurement of ROI in line with brand goals.

  • Creating playbooks and toolkits for the business to support all of the above initiatives.

  • Building and managing a team of social experts and the supporting agencies. 

 

 

 

Your Profile

  • We are looking for someone who has a passion for creating differentiated engagements and excited by the opportunity to redefine what marketing looks like for our industry and beyond.

  • Executive presence and experience in delivering recommendations to senior level executives; effective communicator at all levels of organizations, and comfortable with press and industry communication.

  • Possesses a balance of conviction to drive change with breakthrough collaboration and influencer management capabilities

  • Experience and connection to the gaming / esports / youth culture industries, working with numerous stakeholders from publishers, properties and/or talent management.

  • Exceptional people leadership skills and experience, overseeing a cross-functional team, with a consistent history of cultivating and developing high performing teams.

  • Strong leadership skills - strong communication, problem solving, organizational and delegation skills are a must.

  • Collaboration with colleagues across all lines of business to identify and develop unique strategic programs to deliver against business objectives.

  • All around strategic thinker who is well-versed in culture, analytics, consumer insights and employs a customer first mindset to all experiential plans and activations.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple programs concurrently.

  • High energy, self-starter, team-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Travel recommended (~10%) to support the business and local / regional activations.
