About The Role
Entain is one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups, operating both online and in the retail sector. In this role you will be part of the team that provides vital insight and strategic direction as to how our business allocates and spends its significant marketing investments globally. You will be responsible for the implementation and continual development of our analytics and tracking solutions, and will with work with our technology, development and adtech teams representing the business, it’s commercial requirements for analytics and to drive forward change.

Let us tell you more about what you will be doing in the role...
  • Design, build and own key tracking for our global brands.
  • The key person responsible for the web analytics data in our proprietary marketing stack
  • Own web analytics implementation designs and direction for the business.
  • Work on a join sign off process on tracking specifications
  • Responsible for App tracking through our partners like Appsflyer.
  • Own global taxonomy and work with marketing teams and marketing operational analysts to maintain taxonomy adherence
  • Joint ownership of the ingestion of marketing data from third parties and Fivetran.
  • Assist in training and use of GA front end for business users
  • Responsible for the overall quality, usability and fitness for purpose of core data sets from GA, CM, Appsflyer and the main marketing platforms.
  • Work directly with operational marketing and promotions teams to promote data driven decision making across our brands.
  • Work along side marketing teams identify conversion opportunities and ensure performance is optimal.
 What type of specialist Skills and experience are we looking for? 
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Expert in the web analytics field, with great technical knowledge of how web data is created and managed.
  • Expert in GTM, GA UA and 4 plus the wider Google data stack like Campaign Manager.
  • Extensive experience working with GCP and Big Query.
  • Building data stories through analysis and dashboarding that can assist the business making decisions
  • Demonstratable examples of being able to build data sets, ingest data, check quality etc using GCP.
  • Experience in testing methodologies and designing valid tests
  • Experience in a customer lifetime value driven business is beneficial
  • Comfortable cleaning and preparing data from large data sets
  • Experience utilizing tools like Tableau and Power BI would be beneficial
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proven track record of driving change through business intelligence.
