The role in a nutshell:

To lead and manage the Group Risk Management optimisation and projects.

To be responsible for the strategic planning, ongoing optimisation and managing projects of the online/digital and Multichannel customers from Risk Management perspective. Driven by data and/or demand, this role will provide the department and stakeholders with recommendations for the use of new tools, products and optimisation of current processes and technology.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and manage all the key Risk Management projects from end to end.
  • To identify areas of improvement in the various backoffice tools, reporting, etc. and liaise with the Product & Technology teams to ensure the smooth delivery.
  • To identify opportunities to improve the services provided by various Fraud, Risk, Payment Teams through new tools and processes.
  • Manage and lead any changes to optimise key customer account journeys for verification, payment and account management, with particular focus on blocking, document verification, automatic verification rates, cashier recommendation/selection and payment success rates.
  • To identify performance gaps and opportunities.
  • Working together with all the Fraud, Risk, KYC and Payment departments and optimise the various departments’ processes, ensuring that they are both efficient and fit for purpose. These processes need to be continuously reviewed to ensure that they are streamlined and make the best use of the technology available.
  • Working together with the relevant departments and optimise the departments’ technology to improve automation and ensure the existing technology is being effectively used. This will include regular reviews of the various suppliers, their success rates, fees, the quality of the data and the service provided.
  • Effective use of data and reporting to identify and rectify any shortfall in the deposit success rates and / or batch processing results.
  • Encourage communication and collaboration across the business, team and stakeholders in order to build strong relationships and develop cross functional working.
  • Recommend changes or improvements to systems and processes, ensuring they are compliant with the relevant regulations.
  • Coach, mentor and grow the various Risk and Business Analysts with regular coaching/mentoring sessions to explore strengths and weaknesses and to address any areas of development.

What we need from you:

  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise workload.
  • Degree level or equivalent qualifications and/or experience
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of managing and delivering change.
  • Experience of working at least 10 years in the gaming industry including 3+ years in the multi-jurisdictional, multi-language markets
  • Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Multi-site operational experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools and MS Excel in particular.
  • Understanding of the various online marketing incentives offered.
  • Knowledge and experience of AML/KYC/SOF especially in the EU market
  • At least 3 years’ experience working under regulated markets (at least 3 of those).
  • Written and spoken English language skills.
  • Strong analytic capabilities.
  • Ability to problem solve under pressure.
