Reporting to the Sports Performance Manager, you will support the commercial performance of the partysports brand, contribute to day-to-day KPI monitoring, and encourage a data-led approach to the decision-making process. In close collaboration with the CRM Analytics Manager, you will also be responsible for assessing the value returned by sports CRM marketing spend. Your analysis will help to evaluate performance in all areas of the sports business, including acquisition, retention, and product optimisation, and identify new opportunities and efficiencies for the business.
What will the role involve?
- Data preparation for analysis by querying data sources (SQL, Excel, Tableau)
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design engaging campaigns that can be analysed and conduct pre-campaign analysis.
- Deliver customer insights and make recommendations by performing post-campaign analysis
- Provide timely and accurate monthly reporting of KPI
- Look for ways of working with the rest of the BI team to fully automate where the same analysis needs to be repeated weekly or periodically
- Answer ad-hoc business questions using data and analytical techniques, providing fact-based responses
- Provide analysis, not just data! You need to be able to understand the data, draw out valuable findings, and deliver them concisely so that it is easy to digest for senior collaborators
- Identify, recommend, and implement quality and efficiency improvements to Performance and CRM processes.
Who are we looking for?
- A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, etc.)
- Experience using complex SQL queries for data extraction
- Exceptional data wrangling skills dealing with complex datasets to combine and automate the analytics workflow
- Experience in reporting tools Tableau / PowerBI or similar
- Excellent understanding of KPIs, business processes and data context.
- Capable of clarifying business hypotheses and applying analytical techniques to test them
- Capability to interpret data and drive business conclusions
- Eagerness to learn and continuously improve
