Our MarTech team have bold plans and are looking to add an Ad-Tech Data Manager to the team. A brilliant role, you’ll get to work with the team and wider company stakeholder to understand potential tracking issues, accommodate tracking requests and maintain high data quality standards for advertising platforms.
You will be confident working closely with stakeholders across the business and be able to handle tracking issues efficiently. This role requires strong leadership and someone who does not shy away on challenging the business on release schedules and marketing tagging requests.

So, what does the day to day look like?
- Investigate, diagnose and fix any tracking issues which could impact performance or measurement within a timely manner.
- Implement processes and documentation which can support greater efficiency when working across different departments.
- Develop and be responsible for the tracking and tagging documentation for marketing tags across the group.
- Be the SME on the limitations and best practice for major platform marketing tags, i.e. FB, Twitter, Snap and CM360.
- Own the marketing tracking for the s2s migration of GTM containers with the Web Tracking team.
- Review all the marketing containers and make the necessary updates for the GA4 migration which is being built by the Web Tracking team.
- Maintain an understanding of the data being consumed by our marketing tech stack and platforms and ensure data quality for these platforms is maintained.
- QA user journeys and ensure tracking is in place for tags. Debug, fix and detail any tracking/tagging issues.
- Use MMPs such as AppsFlyer or Branch to connect to advertising platforms to measure mobile performance.
- Handle the raising of mobile tracking issues to development and product management teams to resolve app tracking issues for marketing teams.
What are we looking for in our Ad-Tech Data Manager?
- Previous tag management experience with use of Google Tag Manager/Telium or any other tagging solution.
- Familiar with data layers
- Basic understanding of tag management coding i.e. JavaScript, HTML and CSS..
- Digital Marketing experience i.e. social, programmatic, CRM, PPC, Affiliates.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with MMPs and app tracking solutions.
- Strong communication skills
