What you'll be doing:
  • Delivering Entain initiatives based on the agreed scope and timelines within the label and delivery management framework standards
  • Ensuring communication in the right time and representing the team(s) and all its related aspects
  • Working with Project Managers for delivering projects/initiatives across different locations ( Austria / India / Bulgaria )
  • Working closely with the LeanOps TechLeads and Architectural Teams to ensure a proper architectural and standardized solution is implemented for the respective project that is aligned with the overall architecture guidance
  • Plan/Control:
    •  Shaping and scoping all appropriate analysis and planning activities on different roadmap projects, providing realistic estimations for the whole initiative
  • Process:
    • Supporting continuous process improvements.
    •  Supporting the LeanOps teams to ensure the implementation of quality guidelines, processes and standards.
  • Technical:
    • Ensuring availability and stability in production
    • Constantly improving automation to support daily business tasks and project tasks best
    • Ensuring sound security requirements and practices are followed
    • Providing architectural and technical guidance as well as hosting standards to software delivery teams ensuring design, process and quality practices for hosting applications in production are followed
  • People management/organization:
    • Ongoing team marketing
    • Continuous communication and alignment with involved parties
    • Conflict management
    • Responsible for recruiting new team members & efficient onboarding
    • Appraisals & Performance Management and team building
    • Building and leading LeanOps/DevOps groups
    • Leadership and development of LeanOps resources/teams, including identifying and hiring required resources, helping increase and share the technical knowledge and capabilities of the teams
What we need from you:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant leadership experience and/or Application Operations experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills – capable of communicating and influencing at all departmental levels with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to "think out of the box" considering business targets as the driving force of activities
  • Understanding and knowing the relevant LeanOps processes from requirements analysis, technical risk management, security and Infrastructure requirements
  • Knowing monitoring and hosting principals
  • Experienced in Powershell
  • Technical & process background with experience in the following areas:
    • Network & automation Know-How
    • Requirements development and management
    • Infrastructure/hosting skills
    • Agile practices/scrum
  • Strong technical background in some of the key technologies used by the company
  • Is part of the team oncall rota
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high workload with various tasks and changing priorities
  • Driven, robust, self-motivated, delivery focused and able to withstand 24/7 pressure, and to challenge and be challenged
  • Strong agile background on scrum
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  •  Desired:
    • Experience of sports betting domain
    • Strong technical knowledge of high transactional systems
