About The Role

 As a team lead in LeanOps your mission is to apply practices in IT operations to ensure availability and scalability of services in your area. This role will work with collaborative teams in planning, analysis, design and construction of hosting services on an enterprise-wide basis. This is a hands-on position providing tools and technical planning to help focus your team on automation and hosting efficiency. The LeanOps team lead will enable the managed team to increase performance processes and daily business in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools.
Technologies you will be working with but not responsible for: Mssql, Redis, Kafka, Elastic, Powershell, .net applications and application performance monitoring
What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the applications, systems and databases architecture within your area
  • Bring ideas to the table, take ownership over their project timelines and deliverables and help us scale
  • Deep knowledge of hosting .net based applications
  • Partner with the LeanOps teams, Infrastructure teams and Engineering teams to create, implement and apply LeanOps principles, processes and culture
  • Support your team in their daily business and ensure the team can work efficiently
  • Manage a team located in different countries and with different time zones
What We Need From You
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant leadership experience and/or Application Operations experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills – capable of communicating and influencing at all departmental levels with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to "think out of the box" considering business targets as the driving force of activities
  • Understanding and knowing the relevant LeanOps processes from requirements analysis, technical risk management, security and Infrastructure requirements
  • Knowing monitoring and hosting principals focused on .net applications
  • Experienced in Powershell
  • Is part of the team oncall rota
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high workload with various tasks and changing priorities
  • Driven, robust, self-motivated, delivery focused and able to withstand 24/7 pressure, and to challenge and be challenged
  • Agile background on scrum
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
