Job description and requirements
The main purpose of this role is to guide a feature from the early stages of product analysis all the way through to operative handover and launch in Production. Therefore you will discuss new requirements with our Product Management to understand the vision and the value of new features and roadmap items. You will then apply your technical expertise as well as your broad knowledge of the online gaming domain to define detailed requirements and discuss solution scenarios with technology specialists and the Scrum teams. After crafting an aligned delivery plan you will work closely with the scrum teams to handle the delivery, further detail requirements and do accurate stakeholder communication.
It is important to bring a self-driven working approach. Which means that the candidate is able to identify potential improvements, collaborates with other teams and discuss improvements. Share knowledge within the team and continuous documentation is key to this role.
In our day to day work we support various internal customers with our knowledge, which means that we provide help on how to use CSS in an efficient and modern way. A small part in our role is also to help implement and maintain content in our CMS (Sitecore) to support other teams.
What we need from you:
- Several years of experience as Business Analyst (or in a similar role) or extensive experience in online gaming domain
- Technical background and good understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience of running sophisticated projects in an agile software development environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into detailed requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to facilitate meetings and technical workshops efficiently
- Communicative, collaborative personality with hands-on mentality
What you’ll be doing:
- Discussing new requirements and roadmap items with Product Management and other business stakeholders to understand and develop the vision of the product
- Defining detailed functional and technical requirements by creating feature specifications and user stories
- Leading the implementation of software solutions from early investigation and estimation till launch to production
- Working closely together with a number of Scrum teams in a large scale agile environment; managing dependencies between numerous scrum teams and their deliverables
