About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Retention & Brand Analytics we are looking for a hands-on analytics star who will be responsible for the assessment of the value returned by marketing spend. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in both above the line and below the line marketing spend analysis.
 
The successful candidate will join us as a 'Bonus Analyst' and will be providing valuable insights on how customer rewards drives value to business and will be proactive in suggesting ways to optimize bonus spend to drive higher customer engagement as well as positive ROI. A key aspect of the role will be collaboration with the marketing teams in designing long term strategy reward schemas for different player cohorts.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Deliver insights on bonus allocation/redemption and make recommendations to marketing teams across the business how to optimize the spend
  • Develop monitoring tools which will help business users understand daily/weekly/monthly bonus spend trends
  • Support in developing a reward strategy to attract, retain and engage our customers
  • Deliver customer insights and make recommendations by performing post campaign analysis
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of KPIs
  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders to develop and execute initiatives that optimize bonus spend at the same time improving business KPI’s
  • Identify, recommend, and implement quality and efficiency improvements to the bonus spend processes
  • Carry out insight projects and analyses to calculate ROI on marketing investment
  • Understand performance and explain the story behind the numbers
  • Prepare data sets for the analysis by querying multiple data sources
  • Implement measurement strategies producing meaningful marketing KPIs and reports with actionable insights/action
  • Use abstract thinking and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems
  • Answer business questions using data and analytic techniques, providing fact-based responses
  • Data preparation: define, transform and structure data so that the data is ready for analysis
  • Demonstrate the value of your analytical outputs in terms of decision-making improvement
 
Specialist skills and experience:
 
Essential:
  • Work experience in a data analytics role, ideally related to marketing spend optimization
  • Degree in science, economics, mathematics, computer science, or statistics
  • Expert in A/B testing and Hypothesis testing
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional data wrangling skills dealing with complex datasets to combine and automate the analytics workflow
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL (Teradada / BigQuery)
  • Proficiency in Python, R or equivalent
  • Experience in reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Excellent understanding of KPIs, business processes and data context
  • Advise clients or senior management on the best ways to use provided data
  • Team player with can do attitude
Desired:
  •  Online gaming experience would be a bonus
