About The Role

We are looking for a data savvy analytics leader to mentor and encourage a team of analysts as our Analytics Manager. You will be reporting to the Director of Compliance Analytics within the Central BI Team and have a team of 3 direct reports to guide and enhance their capabilities.You and your team will be responsible for full end to end analytical support to all our Safer Gambling initiatives and customer journeys. ARC (Advanced Responsible and Care) being one of them.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will lead and own end to end analysis of our Safer Gambling features and journeys
  • Harness relationships by managing stakeholder relationships with business and Compliance leaders. Ensure the analytical needs are delivered on, ad-hoc requests and expectations are both considered and met
  • We need you to use abstract thinking and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems
  • Carry out detailed analysis to demonstrate full understanding of the problem
  • Use random controlled experiments and confidence testing to deliver new cause and effect insights from policies and processes
  • Work closely with the team and provide coaching and set goals so that they can achieve. Ensure the team is motivated and aligned with all regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables)
  • Excellent programming languages (preferably R, Python)
  • Excellent analysing large and varied datasets
  • Experience of predictive analytics and forecasting techniques
  • Strong application of descriptive analytics and statistical techniques
  • Strong presentation skills; able to articulate complex analysis and results to stakeholders in a compelling and easy to understand manner
  • Capable of clarifying hypotheses and apply analytical techniques to test them
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Good communicator and able to work across functions and locations
