About The Role

This role will lead the DevOps, QA/UAT, Field Service and Software Development components of the business.  The incumbent will provide technical and architecture direction to the team and senior leadership.   

 

  • Work closely with product, operations and marketing teams to plan projects and develop roadmaps. 

  • Manage overall system integrations and development activities of technologies. 

  • Provide technical assessment on all system or development partners. 

  • Provide technical feasibility study and industry technology benchmarking. 

  • Manage engineering and software development teams and vendors to develop technical specifications of the platform. 

  • Manage testing and validation of the service systems. 

  • Lead post-launch and technical troubleshooting; product change implementation. 

  • Manage data collection from the platform and third parties. 

  • Recommend technical improvements to enhance the platform and introduce new features. 

  • Develop overall project plan deliverables and due dates.  Identify, document and manage project scope changes. 

  • Create and manage a disaster recovery plan. 

  • Perform other related duties as requested. 

Additional Information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 

  • 6+ years of experience in technology in a gaming environment; 3+ years in a technical leadership position. 

  • Ability to be the key person and become licensed in all related jurisdictions, especially the Nevada Gaming Control Board. 

  • Experience developing and managing a digital solution (e.g., mobile apps, website). 

  • Experience coaching, leading and developing a team. 

  • Hands-on and willing to code or develop system architecture, if needed. 

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC (software development lifecycle) and requirements specification creation. 

  • Familiarity with different testing and validation strategy and methodology. 

  • Proven creative problem-solving ability and analytical skills. 

  • Ability to perform in stressful situations. 

  • Team player which can work self-contained, if necessary. 

  • Self-motivated, proactive and delivery focused working attitude.
