Role Purpose

The Gaming Cross Sell function is designed to drive cross sell growth (sports to gaming and gaming to sports) in terms of actives, turnover and NGR through timely, relevant communications to sportsbook and gaming customers and ensuring the gaming proposition is ‘hand in glove’ with sports in terms of brand, player experience and player journey.

Working under the guidance of the Gaming Cross Sell Manager the Executive will be responsible for managing the entire ‘Cross Sell’ customer experience for either the Ladbrokes or Coral brands. Our commitment is to drive audience engagement by ensuring propositions and communications are relevant to each customer.

You will be part of a team responsible for the planning and execution of the entire Cross Sell proposition. You will be part of a small team managing the ebb and flow of our customer’s multi-product experience. You will ensure that all our key promotions & offers are communicated to customers and key features of our gaming proposition are given maximum exposure.

Your challenge will be to take our cross sell offering to the next level using killer propositions and key product enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • The planning and execution of the cross-sell proposition.
  • Regular reporting on campaign effectiveness and identifying any areas of optimisation.
  • Work closely with internal product teams to ensure the player journey is optimal and constantly improving.
  • Work closely the Gaming Cross Sell Manager to develop marketing campaigns for key sporting events, be the expert for matching the right gaming content to sports marketing campaigns and overall plans.
  • Manage communications with stakeholders as well as interacting between sports and gaming namely Promotions, CRM and Grandstand teams
  • Interaction with other business areas to provide information, support and assistance as required.
  • Monitor and analyse the competitive market to ensure the proposition and offering is at minimum equal to the key competitor set, reacting to competitor activity and development to be more appealing to existing and new customers.
  • Use a fact-driven approach to optimise cross sell.
  • Detect and prevent bonus abuse and optimise promotions ROI
  • Work closely with Customer Service & Analytics team to identify and fix customer journeys and reduce contact-drivers.
  • Ensure that all delivered activity is consistent, of excellent quality and follows brand guidelines as well as best practice and that all materials are fully compliant with all 
  • relevant legislation. In addition, ensuring cross-sell campaigns are compliant with quality assurance ensuring that standards are met to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Contribute to writing engaging copy across channels that will be used for communication to customers. This will require a high standard of written communication skills ensuring messaging is accurate and can be composed dynamically to deliver to our customers.
  • Contribute towards conducting competitive audits including compilation of an extensive gap and competitor analysis, utilising the output to drive improvements and development of the Cross-Sell Proposition.
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
  • Extensive Sports knowledge will be essential in allowing you to thrive in this environment.
  • You will be passionate about Sports.
  • Experience of working in a gaming, marketing, CRM team would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Exposure to optimising cross-sell techniques, segmentation, campaign planning is preferred.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing or customer servicing betting function will be helpful as you will understand the needs and demands of our customers.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with an inquisitive mindset will serve you well in this fast moving function
  • Familiar with Mobile technology, you will be a keen user of mobile devices who understands the basic usability and technology that powers our customers’ experience of betting with us
  • Organised and with a strong work ethic, you will be hungry to learn new skills and take on board evolving tasks and responsibilities.
  • You will possess an attention to detail that enables you to work accurately amidst fast paced guidelines and requests.
