We are looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join our growing global business to help across the GVC group, worldwide 

As an internal auditor manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide independent, objective assurance over processes and functions within the business in accordance with the audit plan. This is a wide-ranging role and you will be required to undertake audits of diverse processes such anti-money laundering processes, financial controls or digital marketing operations, as well as potentially working across GVC’s business operations in 37 countries.

  • Deliver the assurance reviews assigned to you within the agreed budget to the agreed quality standard, from the commencement of the review through to the conclusion including the production of a report and agreement of findings and agreed actions with management
  •  Expected to influence stakeholders to ensure that issues identified, and the management/mitigation thereof, are a key consideration of business/division plans
  • Expected to work closely with the wider Internal Audit team to identify and focus work on areas of greatest importance/exposure to the Group
  • Complete follow-up reviews of actions on a regular basis
  • Create high quality, value adding, commercially focused report identifying areas of deficiency with clear and concise recommendations.
  • Partner the business in remediating any issues identified, exploring possible solutions with the key stakeholders and following through to agree action plans and obtain regular updates on the progress of those plans
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and support other ad hoc projects as they arise
  • Deliver advisory services to business stakeholders when required, including giving controls advice or assisting in project governance
  • Develop long term working relationships with key business stakeholders and within Internal Audit and other commercial functions 


Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Degree qualified 
  • Qualified accountant with PQE in audit practice
  • Professional audit qualifications, preferably IIA or CISA would be desirable but not essential


 Specialist Skills and Experience Required


  • Likely to be educated to degree level and have industry experience or experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Additional professional qualifications or progression towards, are desirable.
  • Willingness to undertake additional studies as required
  • Objective, analytical and lateral thinking with a ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to summarise and communicate effectively (written and oral)
  • Commercial thinking with strong business and communications skills
  • Strong influencing skills, quickly inspiring the confidence of senior management
  • Ability to be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written English to be able to communicate clearly and precisely
  • Highly motivated, honest, approachable and collaborative individual
  • Experience working within a large, complex, multinational organisation

Additional Information
The role is office based but is open to applications where we have offices in the the EU/ London.
