About The Role
You will report directly to the Head of Compliance in Gibraltar and work closely with the Senior Compliance Officer in Branch.

You will be involved in ensuring the Firm’s adherence to regulatory requirements, taking into account both Gibraltar and UK guidance and ensuring best market practice. You will be involved in developing and enhancing the Firm’s compliance monitoring processes and controls, the Firm’s compliance framework and working with Critical Functions, the Surveillance Team, as an example, to ensure the Firm’s framework and policies are being followed accordingly.

You will be involved in the monitoring, analysis and reporting to the Head of Compliance, while assisting with annual regulatory reporting and other ad-hoc tasks as necessary.
What you'll be doing:
  • Working with the Head of Compliance and MLRO to establish and maintain effective compliance controls throughout the business
  • Provision of regulatory advice and resolving live issues from all lines of defence
  • Working with the Head of Compliance and MLRO to establish and maintain policies and procedures of the Firm
  • Production of monthly management information for the Compliance Report provided to the Board of Directors
  • Main point of contact for the surveillance team for activity under MAR, including risk assessments
  • Liaise with Heads of Departments to ensure continued compliance
  • Assisting the Head of Compliance and MLRO with ad-hoc Compliance tasks
  • Assisting with annual regulatory reporting
  • Member of the STOR panel for compliance observations
What we need from you:
  • Previous compliance background, within the broker/dealer space an advantage
  •  Ability to work well within a small team, while also confident working unaided, or with minimal supervision
  • Proactive learner
  • Demonstrates the ability to adapt to new regulatory requirements and assess using a risk-based approach
  • Ability to challenging other sectors of the business on matter relating to adherence to regulatory obligations, specifically MiFIR and MAR



  • Experience in producing and building the compliance frameworks and monthly management information
  • Experience in drafting policies and procedures
