About The Role
The role in a nutshell:
 
Project Manager (Strategic Projects) helps to strengthen Entain’s position as one of the world’s leading sports betting and gaming operators, by delivering major change initiatives with focus on innovation in Product, Technology and Operations, e.g. new product launches, business integration activities, capability enhancement or performance improvement projects.
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Manage all aspects of international cross-functional projects to support achievement of strategic objectives
  • Own full project life cycle: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues
  • Communicate and align with multiple stakeholders across organizational levels and locations
  • Provide leadership for project team by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Work creatively and solution-focused, demonstrating collaboration, innovation, and excellence
  • Support analyses and creation of strategy presentations on demand
  • Seek opportunities to introduce innovation and promote a culture of innovation within the project teams
What we are expecting from you:
  • 3+ years project management or similar experience in the IT/online industry
  • 6+ years overall experience in the IT/online industry
  • Experience with modern development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Energetic, assertive and inquisitive
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Sports betting and gaming industry experience as a plus
