 As the Analytics and Data Controller for the Responsible Gambling Analytics team you will be responsible for controlling and managing the project workload on the Analytics and data team. You and the teams wil be part of a major drive for Entain in that area and given the complexity of various projects that encompass that area,  and to support the team as we take significant steps forwards in the analytics sophistication deployed.

The role will report into the Director of Responsible Gambling Analytics. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for coordinating the active requests associated with the Analytics Project demand process; ensuring proper triage is done and estimation of work.
  • Transparency of progress and highlighting/escalating blockers and risk.
  • Gaining access to expert resource across different departments to enable the Analytics team to increase their understanding of Teradata and the data within it.
  • Validation and sign off data in TD to the standards required by the Analytics team alongside the BI product owner.
  • Ensure the correct scoping and control of delivery of Tabular cubes on top of Teradata as well as support the open project to create a Safer Gambling cube.
  • Supporting the production of data quality standards and requirements.

Qualifications and Educational requirements:

  • Experience in Data management environment

Specialist skills and experience required:

  • Experience working in Data and ABI environments
  • Project or Work package control
  • Experience in checking and extracting data using SQL.
  • Clear strong communication skills
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Able to manage multiple workloads effectively
