About The Role

This role is a pivotal part of the Internal Creative Agency and helps us to build our creative agency capabilities across the group working alongside some of the best technologists and marketeers in the industry. You will be providing leadership to the Project Management and Resourcing teams whilst providing effective management of the wider regional team. You will lead from the front, creating best practice processes and ways of working with both the creative, production and marketing teams to push the boundaries above and beyond current industry standards whilst ensuring operational excellence across the whole team.

You will strive on a daily basis to identify opportunities where the business may innovate and improve marketing communications to drive the Group’s strategic objectives.

You will work closely with the Global Head of Creative Operations to identify and hire the best talent for all regions and implement best practice in the operational functions of the regional hubs.

You’ll work closely with our creative partners to deliver both operational advice and action points on key creative campaigns and ensure they meet the high standards of the Group.

Team culture and best practice operational function is your passion and you’ll be responsible for cultivating a team of self-starting, ambitious individuals within each of their individual functions. You’ll be accountable for the smooth running and process adherence of the team.

Key Responsibilities-

Main:

  • Managing and directing a multi-skilled delivery function covering a wide range of project types and complex business initiatives across all regions.
  • Ownership of the agency’s delivery approach, its resourcing, implementation, establishment and iteration.
  • Driving up and then maintaining quality standards across the delivery and production of all work in collaboration with the Global Head of Creative and Global Head of Creative Operations.
  • Working in collaboration with the Global Head of Creative Operations and HR, manage the recruitment of all delivery roles, ensuring that only the best talent is recruited with the necessary skillsets to deliver the highest standard of work.
  • Develop training and development opportunities that actively help our existing delivery people develop their skills and increase competitive advantage; mentor and coach as required.
  • Work alongside the Agency Leadership Team and with the marketing clients to upskill them with brief writing and processes to optimise ways of working
  • Manage and motivate project teams to help troubleshoot across all projects, always leading by example.
  •  Provide timely, accurate and relevant reporting to the Global Head of Creative Operations across all functions as agreed.
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration both across the wider delivery team and Group as a whole.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships stakeholders and establish clear and robust communication channels so as to provide effective guidance and creative advice to the stakeholders.
  • You will be the escalation point at a local level for both internal team members and marketing client partners
  •  Identify obstacles, risks and issues early on and effectively communicate them to the Global Head of Creative Operations so as to limit any impact on the team.
  • Collaborate effectively and frequently with your peer group to ensure the implementation of a single way of working across the agency is right size and fit for purpose across all regions.
  • Become a power user and strong advocate for the workflow management system Wrike and the DAM solution MediaValet.

  • Maintain responsibility for operational structures such as the DAM and servers.
  • Escalate concerns where relevant to the correct internal agency stakeholders in a timeous manner.
Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Related experience at a senior level of management in agency or corporate setting.
  • A thought leader with a view to creating a first-class agency sized to fit the Group’s needs.
  • Able to juggle different priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure.
  • Experienced in managing teams – medium and small, including managing people out of your immediate direct report team
  • Personable, working effectively with a variety of different people; you encourage and positively influence people to join you on your journey.
  • A strong negotiator and good commercial acumen
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to the demands of challenging and unusual situations.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong financial and cost control skills
  • Strong understanding of the agency landscape
  • Working knowledge of the Sports Betting and Gaming industries is beneficial
