Responsible for supporting the InterTrader staff for any issues with software, computers, trading systems, 3rd party system providers, or peripherals such as printers or scanners. 

Ensures the smooth operation of the InterTrader broker desks and works with service providers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that can impact operations and trading.

Working with SOC and service providers to make sure that the InterTrader office has connectivity and services required for the trading desks and core production systems.

The role also requires working with the broker and operations teams, along with the Head of Product & IT, to create and/or analyse trading & financial reports when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the broker & trading operations teams
  • Maintain and configure user computers and systems including setting up new software & applications
  • Work with the Senior System Admin & ENTAIN IT teams to troubleshoot and support systems & environments
  • Ensure that the trading environment is supported and functioning correctly, working with ISP and ENTAIN SOC during emergencies to ensure that systems have failed over quickly and restored
  • Remotely support the trading operations team in Bulgaria
  • Assist the development team with projects relating to the trading environments and systems
  • Assist colleagues with requests for information technology services, repair or support requests, complaints, and inquiries and direct to appropriate IT personnel via ticket report system(s)
  • Document issue resolution, and related processes and procedures
  • Answer questions and resolve issues reported in person, via telephone, or from a remote location
  • Assist the various departments with data reporting requirements (this may include liaising with DBAs and development teams)
  • Assist in maintaining required technical documentation
  • Assist in creating documentation for project/product requirements
  • Project & Product Management for IT related projects and integrations
  • Assisting and managing Financial Reporting requirements with internal & external users
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors and suppliers – including not limited to invoices & payments
Skills and Experience


  • Experience/knowledge of administrating Windows based systems
  • Experience/knowledge of Windows Server or Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Experience/knowledge of a minimum of one programming language (e.g. C#, C++, Java, Python, Web scripting languages (PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery)
  • Experience/understanding of a minimum of one database language (SQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with network printer support and troubleshooting
  • Good MS Office & Reporting skills (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Power BI)
  • Passion for assisting others and problem-solving
  • Capable to work independently and multitasking
  • Ability to articulate & convey technical information to non-technical people
  • Experience/knowledge of Financial Services in particular trading systems and applications
  • Experience/knowledge of Virtual Server administration and management
  • Experience/knowledge of Network administration in particular CISCO systems
  • Experience/knowledge of Phone systems and/or call recording system administration
  • Experience/knowledge of administrating Linux based systems
  • Experience/knowledge of development frameworks
  • Some experience maintaining and supporting network printers
  • Some experience of managing 3rd party suppliers
