About The Role

We are looking for a Senior CMS. Net Developer who will work with our team of hardworking engineers to design, build and extend our Content Management System. The Sitecore CMS is a fully customizable .Net Framework and MVC based solution. We cover the full stack, from frontend development to backend integrations in a challenging IT environment. We run one of the largest installations of Sitecore worldwide, providing the content for over 70 websites. We customize Sitecore to our needs and we have a lot of custom features already - so seize the chance and APPLY NOW!

The team is one of two teams solely handling the CMS and its development in the company. We as a team define our activities and the roadmap to achieve our goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Any implementation that improves reaching our goals
  • Rewrite existing Features which don’t meet our goals
  • Implement alternatives to Sitecore Kernel Features which are not scaling up to a big installation
  • Debug & Analyze our Sitecore web
  • Identify Performance killers, Memory/CPU eaters, Memory leaks, analyze Memory dumps for various purposes
  • Run stress tests to identify current limits and overcome them
  • Develop Monitoring Tools for our Sitecore (Databases, Caches, Events, Logs,…)
  • Develop Tools to identify unused content and have a job to auto delete
  • Develop Tools to block certain user activities that are not good for Sitecore
  • Write elegant, performing, maintainable, readable and smart code for the Content Management System
  • Unit test your code on robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Support and guidance of less senior developers

What we need from you:

  • Strong C# .NET development know-how
  • Proven Experience with ASP.Net and MVC
  • Proven Experience with Microsoft Sql Server
  • Experience with Sitecore CMS is a real benefit but not necessary
  • Experience in using unit testing frameworks
  • HTML, CSS & Javascript Frameworks (e.g. Angular) skills
  • Self-responsible and pro-active way of working
