What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will be helping the group meet its direct tax obligations and providing accurate and timely tax information to the business. Based in Nottingham, part of the Tax Compliance & Reporting team, within a broader tax team of 14, you will:

  • Be responsible for the initial preparation of UK corporate tax returns
  • Support the corporate tax return filings for international group companies, working closely with our external advisors, and our International tax manager
  • Assist in the production of tax calculations and disclosures for the group accounts, interim statements, and UK subsidiary accounts
  • Ensure HMRC correspondence is processed and actioned on a timely basis
  • Prepare withholding tax calculations, returns and treaty relief claims
  • Support the business in employment tax areas such as, salary sacrifice arrangements, expenses policies, National Minimum Wage, etc.
  • Share responsibility for Entain’s corporation tax governance and control environment, which support the group’s Senior Accounting Officer filings
  • Have access to a wide range of tax issues in supporting the wider tax team with ad hoc projects and an ever changing regulatory environment
  • Acting as ambassador for the tax team in all internal and external relationships
