About The Role
Entain is one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups, operating both online and in the retail sector. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, you will play a central role in coordinating and managing Entain’s regulatory engagement efforts across several European and international jurisdictions.
Please note: this role can be based in Germany, Vienna or London 


What you will be doing 

  • Supporting the Head of Regulatory Affairs with delivery of Entain’s overarching regulatory strategy, including new market entries
  • Responsible for the coordination of advice relating to regulatory, political and legal developments impacting the business;
  • Supporting the business in its dealings with external advisors in connection with assessment of regulatory developments;
  • Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with a range of legal and regulatory advisers, trade associations and other key stakeholders in relevant jurisdictions;
  • Advising and supporting internal business units (e.g. Tax, Marketing, B2B, Compliance) on matters where there is a regulatory dimension
  • Supporting the Corporate Development team with regulatory risks and opportunities linked to potential M&A and business expansion projects


What we need from you 


  • Qualified lawyer (PQE of 1 to 3 years) or 5+ years relevant employment experience for non-lawyer
  • Good knowledge of existing regulatory frameworks in European and international gambling markets;
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide-ranging group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects across various jurisdictions, often adhering to tight deadlines
  • Agile thinker, capable of finding viable solutions to complex problems
  • A team-player who is comfortable working closely with colleagues (including at senior level) from other teams and across various geographies
  • Fluent in English and German



  • Fluency in other languages (especially Russian, Dutch or French)
  • Experience of safer gambling or CSR initiatives
  • Familiarity of international lobbying and advocacy campaigns
