About The Role

The role in a nutshell:

As the Head of the Compliance Operations, you will be working closely with the Compliance Product Team, the Compliance and Legal teams, Marketing teams from all the regions, Engineering team, data experts, the Customer Operations team and external Suppliers in order to identify and prioritize all the regulator requirements in your area. You will be part of a team that optimize, maintain and improve flawless compliance flows, guarantee excellent and best in class customer experience across the Entain product suite and services in different markets.

You will talk on a regular basis with internal compliance departments, run market comparisons and bench markings to transform the Compliance product into a market leading position and support the Safer Gambling strategy within the organization. Together with your team, you will owning the payment supplier and compliance supplier DueDiligence process, identify improvements and implementation for new requirements across the different markets in a timely manner. 

On the delivery of successful results, you will be responsible for effectively managing, following up and reporting operational compliance related issues on a regular bases for various of markets and bugs that may have dependencies on 3rd party and/or internal tools to ensure that they are resolved quickly to minimize any impact on customers. Set up a regular reporting and demonstration of improved processes will be key.

What you'll be doing:

  • Interact on a regular basis with the Compliance and Legal teams and collect requirements. Interact on a regular basis with the Payment commercial teams
  • Sync with the Marketing teams from all the regions on compliance related topics and collect requirements
  • Prepare and oversee market entries from a compliance perspective
  • Market/competitor analysis run bench marking exercises to identify the gaps in offering our UX and also analyze the KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • You will talk on a regular basis with external suppliers and transform the Compliance related topics into a market leading position and manage the Supplier relation.
  • Build and maintain the payment provider DueDiligence process and document the process
  • Create and update Compliance process documentation where needed
  • Build cross bridge between Compliance and payment related topics for execution.
  • Filling the gap between high level product requirements and concepts
  • Sign off compliance product related implementations
  • Managing a team of Compliance Operational Managers and mentor them in their responsibilities and help them to grow in their role 
  • Managing the team performance, motivate them, support them on their learning needs and other administrative functions.

What we will be expecting from you:

  • Good understanding of gaming business, compliance systems, and user experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a Compliance Manager role, preferably within Payments and Compliance/Risk arias.
  • Experience of working on multiple projects and with tight deadlines.
  • Good communication, organizational, teamwork, interpersonal skills and multi-cultural diversity are essential
  • People management skills
  • Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to present business issues (small or large audiences), ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats
