We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Social Media Manager to join our team, predominantly working across Facebook and Instagram.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Media, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the social media strategy to align with business goals along with the creation, execution and measurement of tactical activity. You will need to be a strategic thinker focusing on key metrics on each stage of the funnel including awareness, acquisition, activation, and retention.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience driving exceptional outcomes through Facebook Analytics, Business Manager and Third Party Tools.
As our Social Media Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Lead the execution of the social media marketing strategy from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
- Execute seasonal, re-marketing and always-on digital marketing campaigns to drive reach, conversion and engagement
- Improve acquisition and conversion rates while driving lower cost per acquisition
- Implement a test and learn approach across campaigns, creative, ad sets, spend and landing pages to continually optimise towards performance marketing effectiveness
- Development of campaign plans and reports, including setting of specific objectives reporting on results, insights, recommendations and opportunities for innovation
- Effectively manage social media marketing budget/s
- Continually report and optimise CPAs and review against business targets
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media
About you:
- Facebook Business Manager is your best friend and you know it back-to-front; which is why you have a successful previous track record in Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns
- Experience executing content driven marketing strategies
- 2+ years experience in social media management
- Tertiary qualification in Communications or Marketing desirable
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design programs an advantage
- Understanding of digital marketing channels and how they relate to social media
- Understanding of consumer trends and audience behaviour in social media
