About The Role

Role Description

An exciting opportunity to join the digital compliance department with one of the largest global sports betting and gaming operators based in Gibraltar. As a Compliance Officer in the Regulatory & Compliance (R&C) team you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Compliance, Senior Compliance Manager and the Compliance Manager with key projects and daily task management for the digital business specifically in relation to Entain’s affiliate partner programme.

You will be responsible for supporting the compliance team specifically in monitoring compliance with UK and Gibraltar regulations for affiliate partners. This includes monitoring advertising and marketing compliance, conducting affiliate reviews and due diligence checks, maintaining and updating records, producing monthly and quarterly reporting using monitoring software and liaising with affiliate managers in order to support ongoing projects.

The role will involve working closely with the digital compliance teams, including one other Compliance Officer, as well as marketing and affiliate teams across the Group to ensure processes and procedures are followed, policy documents are updated, and accurate records are maintained. 

You will be expected to have a detailed knowledge of the Compliance and Regulatory landscape in the area of marketing and affiliate advertising and have the capability to offer advice and guidance to teams across the business.

You will be asked to contribute to the continuous improvement of R&C processes to support more effective, efficient delivery of R&C initiatives.

You will be expected to proactively work with the wider Digital business across several geographical locations to support the compliance function and drive initiatives through to completion on time and to the required quality. 

Key Responsibilities 

Work closely with the Compliance Manager and other Compliance Officer to support the affiliate compliance and monitoring function and ensure accurate records are kept.

Review new and existing affiliates websites and due diligence documents as part of the onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes maintaining accurate records of reviews conducted.

Highlight instances of non-compliance to affiliate managers as part of the monitoring process and record actions and decisions taken.

Keep track of due dates, actions and required timelines to ensure timely completion of requirements.

Support Compliance team in improving day to day operations. 

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience

An independent, motivated, self-starter.

Excellent knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment, with particular focus on UK and Gibraltar remote gambling regulations.

At least two years of compliance and regulatory experience in a fast-paced environment.

Compliance qualification and equivalent related work experience desired.

Demonstrated experience in prior roles in relation to marketing and advertising compliance.

Experience in conducting due diligence and “Know Your Customer” processes and procedures.

Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver messages clearly and confidently at all levels.

A team player who shows respect and values the views of others.

Demonstrate a flexible approach, always willing to support various areas of team workload and prioritize accordingly.
