About The Role

Role Description

An exciting opportunity to join the digital compliance department with one of the largest global gambling operators to support a key project on a temporary basis. As a Due Diligence Officer in the Regulatory & Compliance (R&C) team you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Compliance, Senior Compliance Manager and Compliance Manager with delivery of a key project in the area of Affiliate marketing.

You will be responsible for gathering and analysing due diligence requirements for a portfolio of affiliates, including checking identity and company documents provided and maintaining accurate records.

The role will also involve working with the affiliate marketing teams in global locations to ensure accurate requirement communications are sent, appropriate documents are gathered and compliance requirements met.

You will be expected to have experience in due diligence for the remote gambling industry and conducting corporate due diligence checks on global company registries.

You will have knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (”AML”) regulations and Know Your Customer (“KYC”) obligations and have completed training in these areas.

Key Responsibilities 

Work closely with the Compliance Manager to request, collect, analyse and store due diligence and identity documentation for affiliate partners.

Analyse identity and corporate documents, including financial statements, and be able to assess the validity and accuracy of those documents.

Maintain accurate records and store documents securely and appropriately in line with data protection regulations and security procedures.

Build and maintain good relationships with Affiliate account managers across the global business.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience

An independent, motivated, self-starter.

Excellent knowledge of AML and KYC requirements in the remote gambling industry.

AML or Compliance qualification or equivalent related work experience.

Ability to analyse and verify documents from multiple sources and locations.

Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver messages clearly and confidently at all levels.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

A team player who shows respect and values the views of others.
