About The Role

Purpose of Role

develop the industry making digital gaming and gambling more enjoyable for all our customers.


As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Product owner and key business stakeholders

on defining the requirements for some of the company’s largest strategic projects. You will work across

multiple business functions to document key processes and play a key role in shaping solutions and

helping to direct the future of the GVC’s Safer Gambling initiatives.


You will specialise in the area of Safer Gambling and compliance, however maintain good knowledge of

wider CRM and Marketing practices. You will operate at a global scale and build a strong understanding of

the systems and technologies that we use across the group, becoming a subject matter expert. You will be

naturally influential and credible with a range of stakeholders across the group and comfortable leading

workshops and meetings with all level of stakeholders including C-suite.


The role will be London based but remote working is actively encouraged during the current global

pandemic. Future travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

 

· Understand business objectives, gather and translate business requirements into technical requirements and defined processes.

· Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring requirements are in line with business objectives.

· Liaise with senior business stakeholders, explaining complex problems

· Define steps for the business to adopt new processes and support with business change associated to key initiatives

· Develop and prepare system specifications, including creating flowcharts and process maps.

· Write detailed requirements for current and future usage of each technology (including gap analysis between 'as is' and 'to be')

· Support implementation and rollout of new system features, including supporting training efforts for the features.

· Work closely with data analysts to enable the business to make data driven decisions and gather insight from data to define business value from new functionality

· Work with commercial owners to understand the impact of proposed requirements and workflows on primary business KPIs (e.g. Turnover, profitability as well as customers experience) and optimise against them.

· Support in customer and product and competitor research

· Test and troubleshoot new system features while documenting system bugs, errors and solutions.

· Work as an integral part of a delivery function

Specialist skills and experience


Essential:

· Multiple years experience working as a business analyst supporting technology projects

· Demonstrate ability to understand complex business domains and document processes at a conceptual

level using proven methods such as process mapping

· Capture business requirements and translate into user stories for development team, both for internal

agile delivery teams and 3rd Party suppliers

· Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to use data, and data analysis tools to produce insights that support and drive decision making

· Demonstrable relationship building and communication with high level stakeholders (C-suite)

· Strong communication skills and a personable manner are essential, as is the ability to work with staff

at all levels

· Experience working within software development

· Experience of project management tools such as Jira/VersionOne

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly

Desired:


· Bachelor’s degree or higher education

· Experience in the Gaming industry and familiarity with Compliance, Payments, or other related industry

· Experience of working within large enterprises, consisting of independent P&Ls spread globally

· Experience of documenting requirements and participating in RFI purposes

· Experience of writing business cases for Technology solutions
